Sunday was a whole lot better day for No. 25 Clemson than it was on Saturday.
The Tigers got a two-run single from Marian Collins and RBIs hits from Macey Cintron and Mac Pavese, plus a clutch performance from pitcher Sierra Maness in the circle, as they won the rubber match against Notre Dame, 4-1, at Melissa Cook Stadium in South Bend, Ind. Coupled with Friday’s victory in Game 1 of the series, the Tigers won the series, 2-1.
Cintron led the Clemson (22-10, 6-3 ACC) at the plate with a 2-for-3 afternoon that included a drawn walk.
