Since 2024, after trading Tyler Toffoli, the New Jersey Devils have badly needed a veteran winger who could hang and play ball with the likes of Jack Hughes and Jesper Bratt. Finally, it appears that head coach Sheldon Keefe and the two speedsters have found their match.
The Devils have won seven of their last 10 games and have a (very) outside shot of making the playoffs, but it's no secret why. Keefe has Hughes rolling, and Bratt and Brown are along for the ride. In four of those seven wins, the Devils have scored five or more goals.
